Have you ever had any hard to get feeding hatchlings. Any successful methods for the picky schrencki?

...early in the year, but not the babies. Usually babies can be kept going without too much effort. I've kept adults going with smaller amts. of food, and live instead of thawed. Babies can be enticed to eat by using live pinkies, and it also helps to spray their bedding a little once in awhile. Sometimes putting them in a moist deli cup with the mouse and leaving it will do the trick. They do slow down in the fall, take your time. Good luck,

TC

Thanks Terry. Actually these hatchlings haven't eaten once yet. I've tried the deli cup with the live pinky already (but not with spraying). It was the first clutch for the mother, so maybe they are sub-par, but we'll see.

John
