So,I have this amel that is from Alloway's triple het male (father of all of Terry's weird extreme stuff)and from a female snow. So, he is amel 100% het anery and 50% het hypo (and maybe extreme).
He isn't real big but is four years old now and decided to get r done with a falcon extreme. Will be intresting to see what comes of this? Could be just a bunch of normals.....
Pic was taken after they were done.I didn't want to disturb them to much.

Hey Shannon,

Glad you did it actually. Even though the lil' guy might only be p/h hypo with the genetics involved in some of Terry's stuff it's still very intriguing. It would be interesting to see what they produce regardless. Funny thing I have a few male amels from John Lambert that are tied in with the Alloway stock animals that I'll throw on Falcon extremes next year... as well as a couple males from Terry M that were offspring of his 'Xtreme' male this year. I am very curious myself to see what they produce. Again though I very excited to see how this turns out for you this year. Also... quick question... isn't that Tricolor extreme of yours from that lineage as well?

Good luck and thanks,
Chris

Chris, yes my tri-color extreme is from Alloway. He was from the triple het male x a hypo poss het female.I have both the parents now also.He decided to breed finally this year (at 5 years old).I have a couple girls gravid now from him.
It should be interesting around here in a couple months.

p.s. just for the record I think that the Falcon and Terry M extremes are completly different.I am sure they are compatible as all hypo lines have proved to be and I am sure if it shows a extreme it will be the Terry M line showing. It tends to show in first generation as well as in normals, anerys etc...

Well I'm still hanging out on the fence. I agree that you're right, they'll likely be compatible. Not reason for them not to be. Nice to know you ended up with the parent stock... hmmmmn not jokin' around are ya! LOL. I've only seen pics indicating what you're talking about with the Terry's line w/ non-hypo morphs. I'd really like to see more if you know what I mean. I can say that I have a ghost male from Terry this last year that, though not extreme, has remained very light and really does seem to express a strong influence of the lineage. So I get what you mean entirely. Just as a side note... that ghost will be bred to a Doherty line 'old-school' hypo next year (ideally) and I guess it'll help me see what sort of influence Terry's stock has. Funny thing is that you're probably already correct and I just need to wait and see for myself!

Too much typing... thank you spell-check!
Chris

p.s. -- the attached pic is an already posted shot of a Falcon line ghost male.

Thats a real nice light Ghost man. cool beans.
I know that Don Shores has a normal that shows the extreme and he has a anery that does as well.Maybe he will post a pic or two.

Anyway, it will be fun down the road to see what comes of all this.

Thanks for the insight on it Shannon... and thanks for the compliments about the ghost... I got rather lucky picking that guy up! As for Terry's animals -- you're right it'll be nothing short of interesting in the time to come...

That Awesome Terry. I can't wait to see the christmas cluthes you will get.
I wish My extreme tri-color would have kicked in faster but I kinda gave up on him and ended up breeding a few select female to other males before he decided he was ready.Luckily I had some other females that were later in kicking in as well.
