This is probably going to sound ridiculous but here goes.
The other day one of my geckos got out of her cage during the night and wandered my room for a few hours. I found her in my closet and fixed the cage so she can't get out anymore, but ever singe she's been standing on the tallest object in her cage and looking up. I was going to take a picture since it was a bit funny to me at first.
Every night now she's been climbing on things and looking out, and she's been really enthusiastic to climb on my hand for a chance to go on the floor. My other gecko hates being out of the cage though.
I usually take my geckos out once every day at night to play, but she's been really depressed lately when in her cage. I've noticed her appetite has decreased too (in comparison with my other gecko) but she's still eating worms so I'm not worried there.
I was considering making an area for her to run around in, but was curious if anyone else has done something similar and has advice? I mean not necessarily something like a hamster ball to run around in, but it's hard to keep track of her outside the cage.
