First of the year

Here is a pic of my first 2 hatchlings of the year. You will notice one is brighter then the other that is cause I had read about the tempature effects and tried it but they were already 30 days incubating at 87 degrees.The darker one hatched at 37 days staying at 87 degrees the brighter at 40 days incubating at 90 degrees. These are a cross between a tremper and a shtctb.

Great! I might try some different temps like you did just to see how the outcome is now.

normally hotter temps make a gecko hatch faster. If you have two incubators i would incubate low for the first 3 weeks(unless you are intentionally making males) and spike them to 90 after that. I believe temperature only affects color within the last few weeks of incubation since pigment is one of the last thing an incubating leopard gecko developes. Temps after hatching will also affect your geckos color through its whole life
