reversed striped salmons

chondro55 Apr 26, 2008 03:43 PM

In 3-4 years I had in totall 5 litters with reversed striped animals.

The male that I used is a super salmon from Rich Ihle.
he produced in every litter reversed striped animals.
This year I bread back one of the babies from the first litter to the mother, the male is a fully reversed striped male back to the mother and again reversed an fully reversed babies in there. In the litter there were 5 reversed striped babies 10 not reversed striped, 1 still born and 1 deformed and 2-3 slugs. At least half of the litter has a very good chance of being a super.

That is a very interesting litter. Some of those reduced and striped patterns are very remarkable. There are also some outstanding colors. It is always interesting to see how these projects work out.
