Do you have a weight scale?

It is a necessity for rehabilitating any reptile. It's very hard or impossible to tell if a BD is gaining weight by looking.

I'm currently losing the battle with a rescue I got in September. I am as my vet says "assist feeding" him. That means I assist him with opening his mouth and then hold a pinkie in there until he swallows it. lol.

I now I am losing because each time he poops he is lighter than the last. His body is just not retaining the nutrients from the food. He may be very old, I don't know. But, I'll be crushed when he's gone.
