Southern pine from Hamburg show

viandy Apr 26, 2008 09:57 PM

I looked around Hamburg at the different pituophis today. A nice southern pine male, then what looked like a southern to me but the vendor told me "I don't know what kind it is". Then I came by this one. Looks like I think the Isis yellow patternless would be, even though I haven't seen those. A mature female, nice weight, hisses and huffs but doesn't act too upset. Is this what the Isis ones are like? Like to now what you all think.
Thanks,
Andy

Hello,
To me that looks like what some call a patternless northern. Regardless, that is a very attractive animal. It just doesn't really look like a southern to me. Again, nice looking animal! The yellow in her is sweet! Take care.

It's definitely a patternless Northern...

but it sure is a sharp looking snake to say the least!
Good find!

You must have gotten there earlier than I did 'cause I'd have noticed that one. And probably spent more money and contributed to my overall lack of space. So I just wanted to say thanks for buying that snake. I actually made it through a show only purchasing rodents. Awesome looking pit you picked up.

Awesome find Andy! Id say a patternless northern as well. Home Grown Herps has some on their website that look exactly the same.

Im envious. I may pick up a pair of them around tax rebate time but im torn between them or spending more money and getting a pair of masuranas :-D (Ive always wanted to work with them!)

Congrats man,

J
