Titanium tiger retic??

Python_Jay Aug 30, 2003 11:24 AM

Hey,
I've been thinking about buying a pair of het for tiger titanium for prehistoric pets, but since the titaniums are patternless what makes them think that the babies will be tiger pattern??....So would I be wasting $20,000 if i bought the tiger titanium hets when i could just go fer the normal titanium hets fer half price??

Thanx Justin Morash

We don’t really know what a Titanium/tiger or Titanium/super tiger will look like. Maybe it will be like the green/granite Burmese, where the snake has both patterns, or where both pattern and color are blotched together. It might reduce the tiger pattern down to just an outline with the Titanium color, who knows. Perhaps something more outrageous than that! It could cancel the tiger out and just make Titanium’s. We are only selling one more pair of each. The price you saw on the Titanium hets was a misprint, I have been on vacation and just got back, I had our good camera and will be taking new pics. They have a very unique color and pattern, the pic you saw did not show either. As of right now it is a unproven trait but as far as I know there has never been anything like them that was not a simple recessive trait like patternless rocks, striped balls, green Burmese, patternless leopard geckos etc. I am hoping to breed him again this coming season, but we have had him for 8 months and he has not started feeding yet. I hope to breed him to an albino this year. I hope I do not need to wait till I make new Titanium’s to do so. That would make this year’s hets priceless. They should be the key to an all white or lavender patternless albino. So time will answer the question of what a Titanium tiger/ super tiger will look like. I can not wait

Thanks
