weird question a bit i guess, but can you predict what day you adults will poo after they have eaten a certain size meal? Ie do you feed on a monday, knowing big cleaning day is on friday when they will have poo'd. Of course your still spot cleaning, was just curios.

Also does anyone use freedom breeder racks? I have found an eastern european company that makes copies of these, for about a 3rd of the price, ah dont you love the value of the euro in the eastern european countries!! The price seems really good, and can choose roughly the way the cages are mounted, ie how many per rack etc. Pics do show, vented tops, but think could get that changed, just wondering about humidity loss. Any thoughts, or anyone have them? I like the fact that the tubs have a window on the fron, but then covered the rest. Dont need to open the tub to see what going on, but also the snake has 3 sides that are covered for hiding

If you keep accurate records you can definitely put together a pattern of a somewhat predictable nature. These patterns are also temperature dependant as well. So if you temps are pretty consistent day in and day out it is much easier to predict.

Good for vacation planing as well!!!!

yeah im doing my best to keep good records. Downloaded some program called Degei from the net, it like a reptile database, but im still working out how to use the bloody thing. Sheds and feeds are easier, but finding it much harder to monitor the wastes from the snakes, especially the young ones, as it seems to just get mixed into the substrate. Certainly seeing why some keep snakes on paper. The adults are fine though, 99% of the time, the [bleep] in the water bowls, this also has its advantages, as it makes the cages smell a lot less!!!
