lump on boa...

bergmantis Apr 27, 2008 09:06 PM

I have a 2 year old male dh sunglow I one bought from Nerd when he was a baby. One thing I noticed on him that never went away since he was a baby is a bump on his side. It is a small hard lump about 1/3rd up from his tail on his left side. I am wondering if it is a broken rib that healed funny? I am not sure of the cause or if he was born with it. I have always been very gentle with him and never hurt him. It does not affect him in anyway but I wanted to see if anyone had seen this before? I can only tell it is there when I feel it. I cant see it sticking out. Any comments?

Thanks,

Mat

Does it feel hard, like bone would? Is it stationary in one place, and not moving?

If so it might be broken ribs...or might not, hard to tell either way...

I have an import Nicaraguan male with several old broken ribs...they feel like hard, solid ridges on his side, but at an odd angle compared to the other ribs...and the skin will move freely over them...hope this makes sense...

Good luck with him...
