amador7872 Apr 28, 2008 04:15 AM

Hey i got a normal female ball 1255g (cb)on april 20. They told me that she eats every 4 to 5 days on preK so i gave her a med rat today and she didn't even paid any attention to it so what i do wait a hole week before i try it one more time, or try to gime her a big rat pup. I'm scare that they may sold me a WC. Why can she be like my 350g female het albino that eats mice, rat pup whatever i give her, my litter 350g eat 2 pup while the big girl didn't even look at her.

Sometimes balls need a couple of weeks to adjust to their new environment before they start feeding. There could also be a husbandry issue that is throwing her off. Oh and I wouldn't give a medium rat to a 1200 gram ball- JMO. Find out exactly what she was feeding on and how was she being fed - then copy that and see if it works.

Good luck.

Most normal sized adult balls do fine on small rats, but I agree, talk to the seller about what she was eating previously.
