is panacur also prescribed to treat protozoas in snakes?is it a risk for a pregnant female?

Fenbendazole (Panacur) has very little affect on the vast majority of protozoan species. It's main use is for the treatment of the majority of parasitic worm species. I have never heard of any instance where it was detrimental to gravid reptiles, although I would probably not treat a gravid specimen unless it was really necessary.
