I'm really excited about this, since I was told by several people at the time that splendida were NEVER found on RR. I've since learned that this was an exaggeration-but only a mild one. They certainly are rare enough that I had little hope of finding an exact locality match for her. I was lucky to collect her mate last season, a slightly "stub-tail" male with nearly identical coloration, and only a few miles away "as the raven flies" on 118.
There were seven good eggs, and I'll definitely post pics of the hatchlings after they shed.
