I have Cal King X MBK coming out her tailpipe now.
She layed the first on the 26th at about 11PM. It was a good egg.
She did not lay any on the 27th.
This afternoon - she layed one that really looks marginal - outside the nest box. Right now - she's in the box, two more good looking eggs are out and her tail is up with the third in position to come out.
-=-
My lavender Cal King is gravid and in blue right now - last year her clutch was difficult to get started, took several sceloporus feedings for 3 of them, one took f/t and one took live. All did move to f/t but 3 of them initially snubbed their nose at pinks (live or f/t) yet would pound lizards instantly.
I bred her this year with a different male who's clutches always produce good feeders, trying to determine if the lizard preference is her genes or last years male.
My third female copulated but does not seem to be gravid - I will try again after her next shed. That's also Cal King X Cal King. I'm breeding her with the male that last year fathered the difficult feeders. Gravid sceloporus will be collected to provide feeders for the potential difficult feeding clutches - and if the clutches eat rodents well before I'm out of fence lizards, I'm sure I can find someone with difficult hatchlings.

Here's all 14 of the eggs with a quarter.
The bottom left was the first one out.
Top left was the egg that I believe was causing the binding.

She's resting now - I will offer her a couple weanlings tomorrow and if she takes them, some adult mice the next day to help her regain her weight.

Huh??, please be kind enough to explain to those of us that don't know anything about snake genetics, or subspecies as to how this cross of yours wouldn't result in anything other than a clutch of non-related intergrade mutts? ......anery nigra?,..C'mon!..man!, HA!,.....to put it in your own terms,.....rotflmao!!!!!

it was a joke doug. but i will splainit since you asked. i took a w/c l.g.nigra and bred her w/a snow l.g.floridana now this snow is/has always been "suspect" to be a manmade snake it originally came from gulfcoast which btw claim it to be pure floridana but whatever... anyway as you know a snow is a dbl.homozygous animal(displaying 2traits at the same time) albino & anery so with a lil time&effort i will get an anery nigra now heres the joke doug pay close attention ... anery l.g.nigra, get it?
fyi nigra only have black&white so an anery would be impossible to see visually.
i will not comment on your negative intergrade mutt snakes, personally i love ALL snakes. you see ALL the snakes i breed doug are pets. this purity kick you seem to have seems to only apply to folks who cant seem to breed ANYTHING. purity is great and i breed many of the ssp. true or pure but i also have fun with crosses. now before you respond please understand like your milks doug there is NOTHING you can tell me about kings.

Yes,...a future clutch of "mutt" snakes(double het for snow), now that's a sought after item!.....very very impressive!..LOL!
Seems like you put a lot of thought into THAT pairing,......as usual.
You're right,....I can't tell YOU anything about Kingsnakes,........you'll put ANY combination together and make it "work"......hahhahaha!

My MBK just had her pre-egglaying shed last night.
My eastern kings just started breeding.
I'm expecting Northern Pine and Black Pine eggs this week.
So far I have two clutches of corn snake eggs.
I mostly breed Hondurans and a few are starting to look gravid.
