I tried searching the forums, but all I got was a million posts from Wes Von Poppaneau about mambas. Has anyone here been bitten by or know anyone who has been bitten by a sidewinder? I'm just curious about their venom. I'm not looking to go out and collect a bunch. I was reading that they are mainly only deadly to animals under 30 pounds. If you have any personal experience with them I'd enjoy hearing about it. I've photographed tons of them in the dunes and on the roads. If I can figure out how to scan slides I have some great pics to share.
