go to the cage forum those people are full of info. but quick tip is use melamine.

I would just skip the work and buy one. I use a 55G all glass enclosure in my living room for a small female and it always gets a lot of attention.

buying can get more expensive than building and if they have a lot of geckos it will be much easier and you can have it to the size you want without any problems.
