Water snake "slugs"

antelope Apr 30, 2008 02:31 AM

Has anyone seen a water snake or other live bearer lay slugs? What would an infertile egg look like in a live bearer or has anyone seen a dor water snake with early term embryos? I have a friend who swears his diamondback water snake layed slugs. Any ideas?

I can believe the water snake produced slugs.

Boa constrictors are live bearers and produce slugs fairly commonly. Slugs tend to be roughly oval and yellowish. See the link.
