Leo not eating??

LR-Reptiles Aug 30, 2003 02:29 PM

just wondering, i have a paternless male thats about 5 months old. good size, hasnt been eating of late. lays around more then usual, but still active, gets offered mealies and crix, i havent seen him eat very many the past few days, but still finding new poops in the cage..

anyone got an idea? im fairly new to Leos, still learning, just something that has struck me as odd because of the amount of food he was eating only a week ago

Sometimes leos go through spells where they are as hungry as before. As long as your guy is eating a little, pooping, and not losing weight, don't worry too much. If he stops eating completely for a week or more, that's when you might start to worry that something is wrong. Hope that helps!
