I never thought...

Matt J Apr 30, 2008 09:53 PM

...I'd keep the 'pinnacle of pythons' or ever hatch any! Yes, I've been humbled. These snakes are truly the KINGS of Australia! This is a little project that I got into and honestly, I've never kept a snake quite like them before and hope to always enjoy their company. Amazing animals to say the least... If all goes well I may hatch 5 babies by the end of the week. We'll see. Hope you folks enjoy the pics! I'm on cloud 9.

A HUGE thanks goes out to Matt Turner, Derek Roddy and Tom Keogan. They all were instrumental in providing input, advice, encouragement, etc... You want a tough python taxa to reproduce? I think this is it! Hahahaha... Good times.

All the best-

Matt

I've always felt that blackheads hatching were one of the most beautiful sights, they really are amazing snakes. And I have only ever seen pictures. I can't think of any other snake species that looks as nice hatching out, Woma's are close, lol. It must be a great feeling to witness and know you had so much to do with it! Congrats.

Matt,

Congratulations!
Black heads have long been my "dream" snake, and I never get tired of seeing them, or seeing babies hatch!

Now between you and Tom, I'm hoping one of you cheap b*stards will send me a pair of babies on the house
