Question on a protective grid

Naren May 01, 2008 01:11 AM

Whether it is necessary in a terrarium for a boa on a mirror warming lamp to establish a protective grid that a boa has not received a burn?
Thank you

Are you asking if it is okay for a snake to come in direct contact with a heat light? then no.

I have asked, whether necessarily to put a protective grid around of a lamp. If there is no protective grid, whether the boa can burn? Or it clever and on hot does not climb?

It is not a good idea to let your snake touch the light because it can get burned or break the light and electrocute itself.
