another egg question

scooter182 May 01, 2008 01:36 AM

i came home tonight to find eggs! wooo!! however, they are very soft eggs. since i've never had eggs before, i'm wondering what they are suppose to look like. they are kinda wrinkly and soft, but still a whiteish color. i know that yellow eggs are usually bad, but these are almost a soft pink color. i made sure that they stayed in the upright position when i moved them. is this normal? one of them is definately heavier than the other. also, this is her first clutch, can that have something to do with this? any help would be awesome. thanks in advance

Go ahead and incubate them. The first egg laid by my leopard geckos seemed soft and infertile to me, but I incubated it and it hatched last week.

I just candled the other eggs dropped since then and out of 5, only 1 of them candled yellow.
