It looks like your humidity is too high, or he is laying in the water bowl way too much, or he's found himself some wet substrate to hang out it. To me it looks like the begining of scale or belly rot, but could just be the picture.

He never soaks in his bowl. He spends all his time in the tree. I will have to check his humidity levels though.
Thank you

What would you suggest to get rid of this scale rot if that is what it is? I have an appointment with my vet May 10th. That is the soonest they could see him

It's a male correct? Has he been in a breeding situation with a female where another male was present?

No he hasn't we have not bred him at all. We were giving our females an extra year. He does spend alot of time in the tree. Do you think maybe it might be from rubbing the tree. I have seen him "court" the tree.

It looks a little bit like the scratch makes one male can give another when both working over a female or the marks I have seen on an Albino female before from courtship. I'd watch it but I would not personally be worried if everything else seems normal about him. Other than the fact that he sometimes "courts" a tree that is...

He shed this morning and it was gone, but I am still taking him to the vet to get his check-up.
Thanks for your help.
