Washing Sand...

How do yo guys go about washing sand? Thanks

Normally I wash sand for my seahorse, coral reef, and planted tanks. I just place it in a bucket and wash it with a hose. Spray it til most of the water is clear. When you do that that, you get rid of most of the dust and fine particles.

In my reef tank, I use do one rinse as it's calcium carbonate based and not harmful. The fine particles are great for the sandbed.

I followed the same procedures for my bearded dragon set-up.
