Gravid Silvera ???

fgs May 02, 2008 07:15 PM

The snake in the top photo is of my EBV Red Group Hypo. He spent the breeding season with my Silvera female ( second photo taken last night). I never saw ovulation, but am hoping that on or near May 15th she will give me a litter of babies.

She looks full, but the real question is full of what.

I hope everyone is having a great season.

Best of luck Brian, she sure looks full of babies to me. BTW, she still looks fantastic for being that big and gravid.

Matt:

I wish I could convey the thoughts I have when I see her in my collection.

Your generosity will someday be repayed.

Half of the babies will be hypos being influenced by both EBV Red Group and Silvera gene pools. I'm anticipating the normals to be very clean with large red tails and lots of contrast.

The gravid female is from a litter I had in 2005. She was best in the litter. Every baby that came from that litter were rated 10s by me. By far the best looking group of baby boas I had ever seen.

Thanks for the compliment.

Brian,

Without a doubt I am sure! She looks by far better than alot of adult Hypo Harlequines I have seen...she is a head turner to say the least.
