My Cali King has had a singular scale swollen for over 4 sheds and i haven't been able to find any pictures of anything like it. I thought it might be from a mouse bite because he's a little careless while feeding, but it hasn't healed, gone away or decreased in size. please help.

Hi, me again. He's going on 8 shed cycles now and that one scale is still enlarged but has a sort of dimple in it... I'm wondering if it is just that one scale can i remove it? Will it heal normally with care? (neo-sporin) Can anyone please advise me further?
