How's it going man? The pines are getting BIG and BLACK! The female is pretty much solid at this point, her belly darkened up a lot in the past couple of months and now she has about 3" of her tail left then she has not more browns! The male that you got for me is close behind her... Too bad I never found that female before I moved... she was pretty much solid black when I got her!

I remember giving them little rat pinks, then fuzzies then large fuzzies and now they are getting ready to start on weaned... I cut back feeding from every 5-7 to about 10-12 because they are not very active (the male roams a bit but for the most part they just move from warm hide to cool hide) unlike my bulls/gophers and I feel they are just getting fat (but also out growing everything). Cutting back got the male a lot more active but that female is sort of obese... I'll get pics up when she sheds.

I've been soaking them once a week as well as I noticed they do not hit the water bowl. When I soak them they drink as much as they can then they climb out. This may be an issue with my water bowls but I'm not too concerned. I like soaking all of my snakes, keeps the clean/hydrated. And I don't have to wash the side of my cage when they [bleep] on it... because they do it in Gwen's nice kitchen bowl I have also noticed it gives them more bulk... odd but once I started soaking all of my snakes they seemed to fill out more? Maybe in my head... or maybe they are becoming more mature... dunno.

Did you guys move? How are things? Any new snakes? I wish you would breed your pines again this year... I want to get another female! Thinking I will pick up the nicest one I find this year and alternate females every year...
