OT: Rest of pics from Raleigh show

natsamjosh May 03, 2008 10:35 PM

Here are all of the pics I snapped at the show today, hope you enjoy them. Sorry, no nice rainbow boas were there.

Nice Green Tree pythons, especially the first one.

This poor Iguana was rescued, hopefully he'll get a good home...

Rare red eastern garter snake from South Carolina...

Saw a few of these "Green Rat" snakes, very nice shade of green..

Huge (Panther?) chameleon, very impressive!!

Land iguanas

Sanzinia, very nice snakes.

Waxy Monkey frog, I think....

Emerald Tree boa. I'd hate to get tagged by one of these...

Knob tailed gecko. Very cool animal, tail looks like a head...

Woma...

Labeled as a Chinese Box turtle ????

Nice little BCC...

Bearded Dragon posing nicely...

Nice. Thanks for the pix. Wish I could have seen those Sanzinia in person. They're pretty neat. Pretty ETB..that's on my "some day" list for sure.

Did you happen to see any coastal plains milks or scarlet kings?

natsamjosh May 04, 2008 11:13 AM

Unfortunately, I didn't really pay much attention to the milks and kings. There were a fair amount there, but my time limitation (ie, my kids ) didn't allow me to stay as long as I would have liked. Shoot, I would have looked for you if I knew in advance.

The list of vendor is at:

Thanks,

Great pictures! That poor iguana, looks like someone kept him in a small wire cage with a shnoz like that. Oh, and the chameleon is actually a Meller's Chameleon. Those ones get BIG!

Thanks for the correction, for some reason I thought Meller's weren't that colorful. I guess I need to read up on my chameleons!! They are truly spectacular to see in person.

Thanks,
Ed

Thanks for the pics, looks like they had some nice stuff even though they didn't have any BRB's.
