The book on hots

DanW May 04, 2008 04:22 PM

I am considering buying the book, Handbook of Clinical Toxicology of Animal Venoms and Poisons by Jurg Meier and Julian White. If anyone has this book what do you think about it? Does it cover snakes in a species by species format or is it more of an overview?

Thanks,
Dan

It covers a host of species (both venomous and poisonous)- including marine invertebrates, fish, insects, arachnids, and snakes by region (with some generic accounts and some species accounts of envenomation).

It is certainly not light reading.
