Possible Gopher Snake?

Princess90503 May 04, 2008 07:39 PM

Hello Everyone,

i'm new here & this is my 1st time posting. i myself have a boa but i'm inquiring here on behalf of a friend who found a snake a few days ago in the local area (Southern California/Los Angeles/Palos Verdes). i've taken a few pictures but i don't know how to post them here so i can include a link to them. (Don't worry, the enclosure that the snake is in is very temporary, i have told my friend that the snake should be in an enclosure such as a tank.) A couple of people in another forum thought it was a gopher snake, so i thought i'd ask you folks if you agree & if so, i was wondering if anyone might be able to pinpoint what variety of gopher snake? Thanx in advance!

Here's the link to where i have the photos:

Definitely a Gopher. Most likely an annectens (San Diego)

Hmmm, I looked through all 11 pages and saw no pictures of any snake. I am sure the other poster is right though.
