I have not yet put my Kings together as they are to young so I am sorry if this is a dumb question but dose the female just lay her eggs on the fore of the enclosure with no lay box? I have always used a box for my Corn Snakes and thus far they have used it every time
Foot Hill Reptiles
She had a Sterlite box filled with moist sphagnum moss, but as you can see, refused to use it. She just laid them on the floor
I take it though it presents no problems for the eggs if they are left on the flore?
Foot Hill Reptiles
I hope not. My western hog did the same thing last year and I got 13 out of 13 (11 female!!!) successfully hatched.

nice color on her...good luck.....
