Will,
I personally like them, I use them for all of my baby and sub adult boas...some don't think they are very stable but I don't have any worries....worse case you get one and dont like it you can sell it...
As for other brands, you can always try Boaphile, ARS, Reptiracks, their are tons of different manufacturers I personally like using the Vision Racks and Boaphile cages but that is just my preference.

Mine dont have a problem and hold up well. I really like them and like you said the best for your money. I have the CB70 along with the 1756, I like them. I plan on getting a few of the V35 racks as well...I would like to have a wall of the vision racks just for when breeding season comes around and I think the V35 or the 1734 should be my best bet as I am expecting a good amount of boas being produced in mid June-July.

I like mine
It just depends on what you are looking to use them for.

All of the vision racks are great, but their baby rack has no competition. No one else offers a baby tub that is 18 inches long. The wheels are also a great feature. I have one rack that sits in front of a door because of lack of other space. It is no problem to roll it out of the way to go to the other room. I also roll some of them right next to the sink for cleaning time.

Mike I have a question , I was told that heat cables had been pulled from the market and were no longer available ? Do you have any idea if this is the case ? Thanks David

Who did you hear this from? Heat cable is everywhere?

Hi Tosha ! I was looking for some at one of our 2 pet store and was told that he hadn’t been able to get it and his distributor said that they had stopped making it , and I didn't bother looking any further , but if you say it is all over ,that makes me wonder if it may have been just the brand they were carrying or something like that . I am glad to here that it is available now I wont have to redesign my racks if it fails . Thanks David

Carrying the heat cable from a retail perspective I have a few comments. The cable that is used in the vision racks is made by ZooMed. I believe they have 3 or 4 different lenghts available. Some time ago when ordering a particular lenght from one of our distributors we were told "it's not made anymore" or it's "discontinued". When this info is transferred down to some retailers they just assume that is the fact. Truth be told, some distributors simply discontinue CARRYING certain products and it's just easier to tell the retailer it's discontinued so they won't go looking to another distributor to buy it from. And the retailer passes that info along to the customer. On more than one occasion we have had to contact a manufacturer to have a product "drop shipped" through a distributor. Sorry to get off topic. As for the vision racks I think they are the best product for the amount being spent.

Hey Robyn,
How's The Enchi Ghost project coming? Man I really had my heart set on that one you posted. Too bad it was a holdback!
Good Luck with that project, and like you say "Reputation is everything".

Bought my CV-70 last year for my BP's. Easy to assemble, and freed up a lot of space. Using a Herpstat HD thermostat w/night drop. Might go for another one or hatchling rack this summer.
In a small apt. space is at a premium.

I have an ARS 7030 rack and hands down, the BEST in my book! I like it so much that I've got another on the way this week. ARS makes a very solid, well built rack. I love the built in deli cup holder in the tubs too. No more tipped water dishes!
I hear Vision rack owners always saying how they like them because of how easy they are to move. ARS racks have wheels and are easy to move too when needed, but honestly I dont see the need to constantly be moving your racks around, especially if you have the heat on them.
Check them out. I'll never buy anything other than ARS when it comes to racks.

Making my own has saved me thousands. If I could buy already made racks i would go with ARS racks. Very nice racks and I love the cup holders as well.
Well back to building more racks and saving money. I will need that money for gas. LOL
