The best thing to do is always offer veggies. You can just leave them in the cage. Thats what i do and my dragon just got curious and tried them. Some dragons might not do the same but if that does work you can put worms or crickets in the veggies they might miss and hit the veggies. It wasnt THAT hard for me to get my first dragon to eat veggies but i was so nervouse so for 2 days i just put veggies infront of his face. lol he didnt take those he just to a mouthfull out of his boll himself. So its not that hard to get them to eat veggies but when they dont people tend to get nervouse =/.

If he's not eating them, I would just keep offering them & and eventually he should start eating them.

you can try this.....

make sure the cage is clear of any "leftover" crickets etc....

wait till your BD is wide awake and starts "Hunting" for food; my DB will start walking around and tasting stuff with his toung and get kinda like a chain smoker who ran out last night

now get some nice greens that you can wave in front of his face... a stalk of kale or endive etc....

just hold it in front and move it around a bit... not to fast... close to his mouth but not hitting him....

you should see his eyes focus on it and start to follow it.
if he opens his mouth just watch and I bet he will stike at the greens like they are crickets....

my bd has now decided he likes to "attack" some veggies every morning now.... in fact he seems to like some stuff on a stalk so that it "Fights Back"

remember they normaly wait for bugs to crawl by and then they grab them... they key on moving things....
when he sees it and misses once or twice he will get more egar to trap that prey item!

after he finds the taste is good he'll keep chomping and look for more.... have a dish with more greens ready and put it in front of him and hold a bit over the dish....

he will come to get that and find that the dish has the same stuff and will test it to see if it's good....

do that a few times and keep moving to where he has to get the items from the dish ....

over time he will just go to the dish when he sees fresh greens there....

Also be sure to offer the correct veggies. Stay away from anything containing the word "lettuce". It is too water based and does not provide enough nutrition. There has also been some controversy with using spinach due to oxciate content which inhibits calcium absorption. Kale, collard green, turnip greens are all good... but experiment... mix it up. I have some dragons that won't eat kale, but love collards and vice versa. Also offer other veggies such as diced carrots, sweet potatoes, green beans (with no strings) peas, squash, etc. etc. Just stay away from friuts until you see good appetite for veggies becasue some dragons will get spoiled to the "sweetness" and refuse veggies!!
