Daytona 2003 Pics

Reptiluvr Aug 30, 2003 07:05 PM

This year's Daytona NRBE show was a bit disappointing as far as geckos. There weren't that many around. Even leopards weren't in quite as many numbers this year. The number of cresteds dwindled greatly compared to the past two years. There was a good number of rare/uncommon geckos this year. There were a few Strophurus around, a handful of Nephrurus (including some N. wheeleri cinctus, N. sheai and an amelanistic N. l. pilbarensis female). A few other things like Tarentola gigas, Goniurosaurus kuriowae and Oedura tryoni and Oedura marmorata were present. Much fewer numbers of geckos but the ratio of common vs uncommon gex was greater. There was a pair of captive bred U. phantasticus from Neil Meister and two male CB phantasticus at Burgundy Reptiles. Burgundy also had about 12 U. ebenaui and 3 henkeli. I saw 2 lineatus and 2 sikorae at other tables also. Here's some pictures from the weekend:
