he got me today

My pastel male got his first good strike on me today and it beld a little but wasnt too bad, now i am not so nervouse about handling him now that i know its not that bad. it hurt but its cool. and thanks for the advice on feeding him more, he has been eating like a horse. one more thing how do you know if you overfeed? everytime i offer he eats and i dont wanna overfeed him

Easy way to not over-feed...feed him one prey item of correct size, once a week.
So pick a day, like let's say...Saturday, and feed him one prey item on only Saturdays. Problem solved.

A prey item of the correct size is about as thick as the thickest part of your snake.

and there you go. Crisis averted.

I would say if he is young feed right size prey every 5 days, I do that till about a year old then go to 7 days.

yeah he was born november of 07 and he weighs almost 350g, i usually feed him two small rats a week tuesdays and saturdays and he always eats them

5-7 days for babies is a fine schedule.
