LOL, I know man, I got chewed on by a baby plains in 2002. The little guy hung on for what seemed like 30 seconds, and like a complete idiot I just watched him (in shock I think). My bite wasnt even close to as bad as yours though, 3 bags of antivenom & a 24 hour stay in the hospitol, and I was sent home. I am a bit more careful now, but I cant stay away from them, I love them just as much.
Hopfully you'll be feeling better, & back out in the field soon.

Thanks Jeff! They are prarie rattlesnakes. Arround here they are usually dark brown or slightly greenish, so to find a spot where they are so yellow was super exciting. I cant wait to go back out to that area this fall, and try to find some 08 babies that are that yellow.
