Double-Dose Pastels born ...

boabackatya May 05, 2008 09:29 PM

My female Pastel Salmon dropped a nice litter today. The are the the result of combining two different pastel bloodlines. About a 50/50 mix of double-dose pastel normals Vs. double-dose pastel salmons/hypos. They also are 50% het. anery.

Here are a few first shots but will follow up with more as I count, seperate, sex and get them into individual enclosures in days to come. There are are few that stand out but I think they all are going to be special animals. I could not be happier to have all babies alive and appearing healthy so far. My in-group head count was 19 but may be off by one or two. You may notice one kinda looks to be a Ghost ... I am not sure as the female is not know to posess the gene. I am curious to have a better look when I count, seperate and sex them soon.

Hope you enjoy the pics and will give updates in coming days and weeks.

Warm Regards to All,
