thermostats outdoor lizards

Learux Aug 30, 2003 08:01 PM

I want to keep my lizards outside this winter I am building them a 3 by 5 enclosure and think that ill need additional heat for the winter.

Who has experience with thermostat and hot rocks or undertank heaters outdoors.

ANy ideas will be appreciated.

So far it looks like all the thermostats i have seen dont have temperature controls precise enough to maintain 55 degrees.

I live about 25 miles north of LAX.
It gets cold but only sporadic and therefor I have the thermostat.

Also in the 3 coldest month I might just put them in the garage and let them sleep
