I am gonna be getting my bearded dragon sometime this week..He is 13 inches long.My question is is sand gonna be ok for him?

I had a hatchling beardie last year and I had her on paper towels..

I whould take him out of the cage in a seperate container for his feedings..Just let me know what y'all think on this..

sand would be ok just dont use play sand go to like the local hardware store and buy washed play sand and if it is that big you dont have to feed it in different container....
