LEAVE HER ALONE!!!! By messing with her you could be forcing her to use up what energy she has left to pass the rest of her eggs. I have had snakes pass the rest of their eggs up to a month and a half later. If the eggs stay up near her mid body and dont move towards the tail at all after a few days I would then start to worry. Where in her body are the rest of the eggs? Have they moved into the lower part of her body? Randy
thanks randy...they are right at the tail and arent moving..looks like the size of 2 eggs...i doubt if they are coming out without help
If they are right at the tail I would leave her alone. If she got them all the way down to the tail she will most likely pass them herself in the next day or two. If she just layed the rest in the last 24 hrs there is no reason what so ever to try and help her. Just leave her alone and give her time. Randy
There's no reason to try to force those eggs out. I killed a BC Gopher many years ago trying to do that, a sad lesson learned. Give the animal time, they will pass eventually. These animals are more resilient than we tend to give them credit for.

I think we've all probably panicked over a similar situation and had some crazy ideas on how to "help" the snake. I think peeking in on the animal over n over is a hard thing to resist but time left alone is probably better than anything else. I'd peek maybe every 8-10 hours or so....

I have the EXACT same problem right now. My big female laid 17 last year, this year, she laid six and 8 got stuck. After talking with some really smart big breeders, I have left her alone. Their advice is to leave her alone for a while, but also at some point let the snake crawl around over you, perhaps in the snake room or outside - give it exercise. But whatever you do, don't force the eggs out.
So far my girl has passed two and has 6 left. Been about 3 weeks or so.
She passed 6 and has one at the base of the tail.
Its been there going on three days.
I get the fact to leave her alone.
How long?
Do I remove the other eggs from the box?
Thanks
