another feeding question

teddy311 May 08, 2008 02:29 PM

My female ball turbo skipped her last two meals, is there any cause for concern, she is just a baby and has never skipped a meal except for the first week i had her. My male tonka also skipped his meal yesterday, how long should i wait before i try to feed them again? he acted like he was hungry but only wanted to bite the rat and really jacked him up. poor little rat, lol

when they bite but don't actually kill the rat it means they are annoyed/scared and not hungry. He could be stressed or not hungry. make sure the temps are good and he has a lot of hides. They can skip a month or two, but leave them alone except for cleaning while they are fasting.
