Old School/Original Albino Breeders

Melinda666 May 08, 2008 03:23 PM

I'm not a big fan of the high contrast Albino's. I'm searching for a breeder of the old/original/yellow/washed out/classic version. Anybody breeding these? is there a market for these or am I the only one?

You are probably all alone on this one... I much prefer the high contrast line myself as do most people

drat! I'm just looking for the original coloring out of Africa. Ya, know, the coloring they were 10 yrs ago before all this high contrast stuff was bred. I hope they haven't renamed them and added more $$ to their cost.

off to check out Nerds "faded"

Sure there people that prefer the faded albinos - nothing wrong with that - and truth be told - most of the high contrast albinos - aren't all that high contrast into adult hood anyway. Not saying all - but most fade out with age.

.truth be told.......alot of people only think they breed the high contrast albinos when actually they got hosed for extra cash for a plain old "albino ball"......

....blushing albinos.....they look almost the same to me.and they were born looking like Jolliff snows......they say they'll change.....I'll wait and see...I got one or two......

......good luck....jave fun......

Albinos are like people. They are all a little different .
Mom

Dad

Baby girl

Mom had 5 little ones last year. They all were bright yellow but I won't call them high contrast . This is the only one I kept.
They are all cool. Claude

I am working with a line that I hope will consistently throw faded yellow albinos. I am keeping that line separate from my "high contrast" albino and hets.

The two hets I have appeared axanthic out of the egg and have turned a different color than a normal ball python.

I think Kyle at Royal Variations has some too, and I got my hets from Steve at Serpent's Den.

If you want, you can contact me and I will e-mail you a picture of my breeder male. I believe him to be the type you are talking about. He has bred two 100% het for albino females this year. My e-mail is skales7@comcast.net.

I'm looking for females, I have an acceptable male. I also won't pay more for the original coloring. I can make my own next season.

I've got a 500 gram faded albino female. I bought it from Anthony Mcain last year. I didn't intend to buy a faded but that is another story. Anyhow I'm happy with her and plan to make some faded spider albinos.
