Foods Edible?

donald94 May 10, 2008 08:48 AM

Hello,

I own a Mali Uromastyx and was wondering what foods other that Romaine Lettuce and Bok Choy are edible for him. I enjoy giving a variety of foods when they are available.

Can you recommend any other foods for my Mali Uromastyx?

Thanks

Endive, escarole, dandelion, arugula, watercress, radicchio, etc.
Shredded veggies like winter squashes, zucchini, parsnip, green beans, green peas.
Smaller amounts of dry treats like finch seed, wheat berries, dried orchard or timothy grass, alfalfa, lentils, crushed beans (no kidney beans), bee pollen, juvenile iguana pellets.
Edible flowers like nasturtium, dandelion, pansy, rose, violas - be dead sure there's no pesticides or herbicides on them for at least a year.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply.

I've owned my Mali Uromastyx for about 6 months and he should be about a year old.

When can I expect my Mali Uromastyx to reach its full length and colors?

Thanks
