If you have not already read about this horrible, cruel and disgusting situation please do so. This is an outrage. Cruel behavior has no excuse. It's disgusting.

I'm a member of IRCF, have been for years. Those were some beautiful animals and a dam shame. I feel for the people that work with those animals everyday.

just read about that and actually came here to post about it too.
love to see that piece of sub-human waste rot in the flesh for such a vile disgusting act.
hopefully they'll find this human urine sample and beat him/her in the public square the way those animals were beaten. forget the turn the other cheek crap, call in the eye for an eye brigade, this vermin needs to be taken off the earth.
anyone know if the blues have been established anywhere else in any captive breeding facilities ?

truly horrible.

While this is a blow to the Blue Iguana project itself, thier are enough Lewisi in private and public hands to keep the species going. The problem lies in the fact that the six killed were more people tolerant than most in the program, which isn't good for public awareness.

I read this and it makes me sick. I took notice of this program in the early 90s. For someone to do this is beyond belief. I agree a public beating is in order.

This makes me sick. Whoever did this ought to be taken out and stomped and beaten just as they did to those beautiful animals. I've seen these iguanas before and they are just beautiful animals. I hope they find the piece of scum who did this and beat the absolute snot out of them. I hope this program can recover after this huge loss.

I read this and felt sick to my stomach. I don't know who in the world has the guts to do such a thing. I had 1.1 Green Iguanas that were 6 feet long, and had great personalitys. I lost them due to cancer(1.0), and large tumors(0.1). I pray they catch the cold hearted cowards that did this.
