Newborns shed....

macajuel May 10, 2008 01:34 PM

so these babies were born over 2 weeks ago (17 days old) and I have only one that shed. the temps are low 80's and the humidity is high. how long is a normal timeframe for their first shed?

also, some are quite snappy, i want to say that its because they are in shed. am i mistaken on that? thanks for you help.

of my first litter this year, all but three shed in the first 10 days. the other three made me wait 5 weeks!!! aaaaagggghhhh!

the snappiness seems to be a 'hungry baby' thing so far... as much as i can tell with my little guys...
