Mealworm Roaches

Are the mealworm roaches safe for geckos to eat?

Yes, they are safe to feed the leos. I've fed the mealworms to my leo before and they seem to love them. I wanted try some roaches, but haven't been able to get a hold of some. I hear roaches are better than mealworms and crickets nutrition wise. They got more meat on them.

are you talking about feeding actual roaches or just the beetles that come from your mealworms? if it's the beetles there should be nothing wrong with them but i doubt your leo will like them. neither of my leo's have ever touched them if they are roaming the tank. nothing wrong with them in the tank but i wouldn't recomend as a food source.

I have used dubia roaches. My leo's love them and they fill up on them much better than mealworms or crickets. Plus, the roaches don't sink 1/2 as much as crickets.
