Fancy mice question

4ktung May 10, 2008 07:17 PM

I have a couple of Ball Pythons that I've never had any luck converting over to frozen/thawed food. I went to the local pet store who I usually get my live feeder mice from (albinos), but when I got home & opened the box they were fancy mice. A couple of them had "silky" hair. Should I avoid feeding these to my snakes or are they OK.

As Brendon says 'Mice are mice'. Those 'silky' ones are called SATINS, just a varient of an ordinary fancy mouse. They will smell and taste just the same to the snake!
