Tonys post below got me to thinking about how in tune this ssp has to be to barometric pressure. Being below ground most of the time, it has to have a significant affect on every part of the life cycle. I have never heard of any studies of barometric pressure on snakes, but many of us agree anecdotally on the fact that shipping and storms can affect feeding behavior. Thinking on ways to manipulate it....I could see a humidor being an interesting test. What else??
