Mid eighties and 6 months to over a year to hatch. Most in the 6 to 7 month range. Cheers

frank that is REALLY long. Almost seems disadvantageous (just invented that word now) to reproduction. Ackies take that long as well?

It makes all the sense in the world. It allows clutches to stagger through dry/wet seasons, and helps with competition from prior clutches in the niches they use.

ackies take 65 to 110 day, in my experience, I have heard of slightly longer. I have had two species take over a year, gouldi complex crosses and lacies.

In one clutch of lacies, the first to hatch took 3 1/2 monitors, and the last to hatch from that same clutch took over a year. Cheers
