What is a bushmaster juvenile? The first five days he/she has been up on a tree branch but the past two night he/she has been laying on the bottom of the tank is there something wrong the temp in the tank is 80 and i spry the tank twice a day.ok one more is there any good way that i can handle the snake? the snake i think around 18 months oldnot sure if is cb or wc. I keep mine in Sterilite Show Off containers available at Walmarts. They are model 1896. They stand 11 inches high. In my experiance, smallish and opaque is better than large and clear.

Bushmaster sells farmed chondros. They are claimed to be animals bred in captivity in Indonesia. They should be treated the same as wild caught in regards to parasites, etc.

I prefer to keep neonates in enclosures than hold humidity at a constant level rather than kept high by spraying. If I sprayed my neonate enclosures "twice a day" they would be soaking wet.

Is it laying on the bottom coiled or stretched out? If coiled then there probably is not a problem.

At 18 months and unestablished, you do not want to hold it at all.
