Tiny Tiny Baby Red Iguana Question??

Just a quick question. I was in a local pet store today and saw some baby igs. Well they had them labled as red iguanas. They were not a lime green like regular baby igs but a brownish color with stripes. They did not look red at all. Again they were probaly like 2 weeks old. I mean tiny. So I was just wondering if maybe they develop the red color as they grow older? Anyone know? I got my red Ig after he was like 5 months old so I was just curious about it. Thanks
